Camping and fire
Camping sites have been managed at regular intervals in wooded portions of the trail. You can camp elsewhere along the trail but we ask that you do not light up fires elswhere than in designated sites.

Trash
There are no trash cans along the Trail because we have no one to regularly collect their content. We therefore ask that that hikers bring all their trash back.

Parking
If you access the Trail at the crossing of a countryside road, you can park on the side. During the Winter, some roads are not plowed up to the trail but only accessible with an ATV or snowmobile. If the snow is plowed and that you park on the side, make sure not to obstruct the passage forthe snowplows (shovel your parking spot before parking).

You need to relieve yourself ?
An outhouse is managed at the Sisson camp. If you need to go elsewhere during your hike, we ask that you do so at some distance from the trail and to cover your stools with forest litter (dead needles and leaves) for more discretion and to ensure a fast decomposition.

Maintenance of the trail
Maintaining the trail is a difficult task. If during your hike, you see a branch or a tree fallen in the trail, you are more than welcome to remove it. If you cannot or have not the time to do so, we kindly ask that you inform the trail of any need for maintenance by sending a message on the Trail's Facebook group.
